Modern and ultra-modern radiators

What does and does not classify as a modern designer radiator is open to opinion, but most radiators that move away from the conventional style of continuous panels, convection fins, or Victorian styling can be viewed as modern.

Most modern radiators can be easily recognised because their design and styling simply did not exists twenty years ago.

These units also have the advantage that, because they double up as a decorative feature, their design is not restricted in either its size, or the position that it has to occupy in a room. This allows modern radiators to be placed in the optimum heat generating and distributing positions without any concern for their appearance.

This flexibility makes most designer radiators effective, efficient and stylish all at the same time.

More creative designs

Although there are companies that specialise in bespoke radiator design and manufacture, the diversity of off-the-shelf designer radiators is becoming greater and greater.

These designer radiators are no longer solely in the "exclusive category" and they can grace any home and often at a very reasonable cost.

Even so, many of the more unusual designs really do look like modern art sculptures and their design credentials are such that few would be easily identified as a simple radiator.

Add to this the craftsmanship that appears to be on display through theses products and many homes would welcome a radiator of this kind as the central focal point in any room.
